Fallon, Nevada-based Frey Ranch Distillery announced it will begin distributing its Frey Ranch Straight Bourbon Whiskey product in the Northern California.

Previously, the 90-proof whiskey had been available only in the Nevada market and at the craft distillery, which first launched the product in December of last year, according to a news release. The distillery also has a 100-proof rye in the Nevada market, along with other spirits.

Frey Ranch Distillery, owned and operated by Colby Frey, along with wife Ashley, is set on a working farm. The self-proclaimed “whiskey farmer” farms the land and distills the spirits, which are made entirely from non-GMO crops grown on-site. The distilling is done in a custom still.

Aged for an average of five years, the bourbon contains a mash bill of corn, winter cereal rye, winter wheat, and two-row barley.
