Country artist Lee Greenwood has partnered with Soldier Valley Spirits to release Lee Greenwood Signature Bourbon Whiskey, with a portion of sales benefiting non-profit veterans’ charities.

Greenwood, known for his song “God Bless the USA,” worked with Soldier Valley to find a whiskey he felt comfortable putting his name on. The 90-proof bourbon, which will be available around Memorial Day, will be sold in a canteen-shaped bottle with a military-style dog tag bearing the letters “LG.”

“I am extremely honored to be working with Soldier Valley Spirits. We have been developing this product for the past five months to make sure that it was the right product to put my name on. I believe we have it too,” Greenwood in a news release. “This is a veteran-run company that continues to give back to veterans through the sale of their products and that is exactly what I support.”

Veterans’ organizations that will benefit from sales of Lee Greenwood Signature Bourbon Whiskey include:

Honor and Remember

Fisher House Foundation

AMVETS National Service Organization

Disabled American Veterans

Omaha National Cemetery
