Fred Minnick Reviews Remus Repeal Reserve V, Parker’s Heritage Wheat and More

Bourbon

November 23, 2021

Each year, Fred Minnick reviews as many whiskeys and bourbons as possible in pursuit of the one that will be named Whiskey of the Year.

Fred’s schedule in the back half of 2021 has been such, however, that he fell a little behind. Deadlines are deadlines and the end of the year approaches, so Fred took out his trusty iPhone to do a series of “down and dirty” reviews as a way of getting caught up. Some were so down and dirty that he didn’t even wear his signature ascot, but we promise he was wearing pants the entire time.

Anyway, here are a few highlights of bourbons he liked over the past few weeks. Enjoy!

Parker’s Heritage Heavy Char Wheat 11 Year Old

Remus Repeal Reserve V Series

Jefferson’s 16 Year Twin Oak 2017

Jack Daniel’s 10 Year Tennessee Whiskey

Yellowstone Amarone Finish
