Compass Box to Release Limited Edition Menagerie Blended Malt Whisky
Compass Box Scotch Whiskymaker announced the U.S. release of its new limited edition Menagerie Blended Malt Whisky, which will be available in early April.
A news release describes the whisky as “an exploration of Scotch whisky’s wilder side,” noting that distillers sought malts with “a touch of the wild about them.” A variety of single malt whiskys from four distilleries — Mortlach, Deanston, Laphroaig and Glen Elgin – were blended with Compass Box’s own Highland Malt Blend to create Menagerie.
The whisky was bottled at 46% ABV, and carries an SRP of $120; 7,741 bottles will be distributed globally.
