Scottish distilleries The Singleton and Talisker have released two luxury single malt Scotch whiskies: The Singleton 39 Year Old and Talisker 30 Year Old.

Both are rare and are now available in carefully limited quantities, according to a news release.

About The Singleton 39 Year Old: Hailed from the Glen Ord Distillery, this whisky is the second chapter in the Epicurean Odyssey Series and was shaped by the brand’s longest secondary maturation to date. The Singleton is blend, with a 12-year base whisky getting a secondary aging in hand-selected European Oak casks which had previously held port wine, red wine and a blend of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso wines. These barrels were then married in casks that previously held Bordeaux. Just 1,695 bottles are available globally and 198 in the U.S. for an SRP of $2,700 USD.

About Talisker 30 Year Old: The newest luxury bottling from the widely renowned Isle of Skye distillery is Talisker 30 Year Old. The rare cask-strength expression is part of a limited annual release that is available again for the first time since 2018. Selected annually from refill casks, Talisker 30 Year Old is non-colored, non-chill filtered and bottled at natural cask strength. Only 3,200 bottles are available globally and 498 in the U.S. SRP is $999.99.

They can be purchased at select luxury spirits retailers.
