Metalcore band We Came As Romans released their latest track and accompanying music video “Golden.” The track is taken from the band’s long-awaited forthcoming album Darkbloom, set for release on Friday, Oct. 14 via Sharptone Records (pre-save here).

A very special run of vinyl (limited to only 1000) featuring an exclusive layout with a 10-page booklet is available now from iamdarkbloom.com

“Golden” is a song about Kyle Pavone, the band’s former vocalist who died in 2018 of an accidental drug overdose.

Speaking on the single release, guitarist Joshua Moore said, “‘Golden’ is a song that’s really close to our hearts. I wrote the verse lyrics about the day that Kyle passed, that morning when we got the call, and the emotion we felt. Kyle was such a bright light in our lives, and it felt like that light was gone without him. This song was about dealing with those feelings and trying to find a way through this new darkness we all felt completely lost in.”

Prior to the release of “Golden,” We Came As Romans released music video for the album title track Darkbloom, plus Darkbloom (Reimagined) featuring deathcore innovators Brand Of Sacrifice, and the visualizer for Plagued. Watch the music video for “Golden” here and stream the track here.
