Fred Minnick will lead a series of tastings this weekend as part of Irish Cask and Craft, Ohio’s largest-ever curated collection of Irish craft whiskey and gin.

The series kicks off Friday, March 1, at Jungle Jim’s in Fairfield, 5-7 p.m. Attendees will be able to taste and purchase whiskeys and gins featured in the collection, with eight samples available at just 50 cents per quarter-ounce tasting. (Details can be found here.)

Attendees also can browse the Irish Cask and Craft Collection ahead of the event to explore available products. Many of these products will only be available for a short time in very limited quantities.

In addition, attendees will be able to meet craft spirits producers from a number of Irish distilleries, including Bua Distillery Co-Founders Martin Kennedy and Pat Byrne; Waterford Irish Whisky Master Brewer Neil Conway; Rebel City Distillery Founders Robert and Bhagya Barrett; Clonakilty Distillery National Brand Ambassador “Hopper”; Ahascragh Distillery Founders Gareth and Michelle McAllister; Lough Ree Distillery Founder and CTO Michael Clancy; Wayward Irish Spirits Founder Sir Maurice O’Connell, and others.

Can’t make this event? Find other Irish Cask and Craft events throughout Ohio, including with Minnick in Cleveland March 2 and Columbus March 3. This collection is debuting in Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati, and will later become available at OHLQ locations across the state.

Minnick is a co-founder of Bourbon & Beyond, Bourbon+ Magazine, and is an advisor to the Spirits Network. He’s the host of The Fred Minnick Show and co-host of Bourbon Pursuit, while also leading private corporate tastings for the likes of Amazon, Google, and Visa. But most importantly, he wears ascots.
