Frank August is proud to announce the release of its first-ever wheated  bourbon: Case Study: 05 Wheated Reserve 5 Barrel Batch, the fifth expression in the brand’s Case Study series. 

Case Study: 05 features a blend of five barrels of Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon Whiskey, aged between 6-plus and 7-plus years. With only eight batches produced, the 104.5 proof bourbon offers a limited-edition experience. 

“We approached this release with a deep respect for the nuances of wheated bourbon,” Johnathan  Crocker, Frank August CEO, Co-Founder and the brand’s blender, said in a news release. “Wheat can offer a beautiful softness, but only when  paired with the right age, structure, and proof. With Case Study: 05, we blended five distinct barrels to  achieve a precise balance of richness and refinement. It’s a studied expression—one we believe showcases  the sophistication possible in a wheated bourbon.” 

Case Study: 05 has an SRP of $124.99. It is now available to purchase in the following states/markets: AZ, CA, CO, D.C., DE, FL, OH, KY,  MD, MO, NV, NJ, NY, OK, TN, TX, and WA.
