Laphroaig Single Malt Scotch Whisky announced the launch of the 2025 Càirdeas release in the U.S. market – Lore Cask Strength.
As one of the most complex and layered ways to experience Laphroaig, the classic Lore expression has always been a fan favorite. With this year’s limited-release cask-strength bottling, fans can now experience it just as the whisky makers do – straight off the cask and bottled at 59.6% abv.
Marrying five favorite distinct casks, each with its own story to tell, the result is a non-chill filtered whisky with an intense flavor profile. Lore Cask Strength offers a true taste of Laphroaig with added depth and impact, putting an exciting twist on one of Laphroaig’s classic and well-loved whiskies.
Càirdeas (Gaelic for friendship) is a special release created with the Friends of Laphroaig members in mind, and is timed with Fèis Ìle, the renowned festival on Islay where whisky fans around the world travel to be the first to taste the annual bottling.
2025 Laphroaig Càirdeas retails for $110 a 750-ml. bottle in the US at a fixed strength of 59.6%. Recommended to be enjoyed neat, over ice, or with a few drops of purified water.

About Laphroaig Whisky
Laphroaig is one of the best-selling Islay single malts globally and is synonymous with this famous whisky region. Established in 1815 by the Johnston brothers, Laphroaig is one of only a handful of distilleries that continues to craft whisky using traditional techniques like floor malting barley and using a “cold smoking” process to create its signature smoky flavor.
