Booker’s Releases Batch #4: Phantom Pipes
James B. Beam Distilling Co. announced the release of the final Booker’s Bourbon release of 2025: Batch #4 – Phantom Pipes Batch.
This batch is based on a mystery of sorts: a maze of pipes discovered in the rafters of the Boston distillery that lead … nowhere. As it turns out, those “phantom pipes” were remnants of Beam Master Distiller Booker Noe’s restless tinkering — an engineer’s playground born of determination, creativity, and a dash of good old-fashioned stubborn genius.
“Dad was always connecting one thing to another, chasing the next great idea with whatever he had on hand,” Fred Noe said in a news release.
Those pipes became a symbol of Booker’s way: not always the easy way, but the right way to make bourbon.
This batch is bottled uncut and unfiltered at 126.4 proof after more than seven years in the rickhouses. It’s big, bold, and unmistakably Booker’s with a long, lingering finish that reminds you why patience (and a little persistence) always pays off.
Booker’s “Phantom Pipes Batch” (SRP $99.99) is made up of barrels from five different production dates. The youngest barrels in the batch are aged 7 years, 6 months, and 15 days at a proof of 126.4.
The breakdown is as follows:

About Booker’s Bourbon
Booker’s Bourbon was inspired by a 200-year-old family tradition and came to life when Booker Noe selected the first bottles of Booker’s as holiday gifts for his friends and family. With its instant popularity within Noe’s close circle, Booker’s Bourbon was soon after bottled and made available on shelves for everyone to enjoy. Booker’s Bourbon is one of the only bourbons bottled straight-from-the-barrel at its natural proof, which varies from batch to batch. It is crafted in small batches and aged for six to eight years in charred oak barrels, which are stored in the center of the rack house. For more information, visit https://www.bookersbourbon.com/.
