The Bourbon Women Association, the first national women-focused consumer organization in the spirits industry, announced that it will celebrate its 15th anniversary this year with a lineup of events and happenings across 16 branch locations that women who love whiskey will not want to miss. Bourbon Women is inviting the next generation of history makers to join in the fun.

“We are thrilled to celebrate fifteen years of Bourbon Women, and celebrate we will,” Peggy Noe Stevens, Founder of Bourbon Women, said in a news release. “In everything we do, we seek to inspire, educate, and empower our members. Thanks to the support of our distillery partners and dedicated board members who lead the organization, we are taking it to a new level. We sought to build a community of spirited women one sip at a time. That mission still rings true today, 15 years later. Our members have built every inch of the organization; it’s truly been an amazing journey.”

The Bourbon Women board has put together a carefully curated list of events and programming, with content approachable for spirits beginners yet still appealing to spirits experts, while evaluating every program through the filter of fun. Below are ways that Bourbon Women will celebrate throughout the year, with more to be announced in the coming months.

  • 15th Anniversary Whiskey Blend – A special whiskey collaboration designed by the Bourbon Women experts, distillers, master tasters, and master blenders will be released to celebrate the organization’s keystone anniversary year.
  • Premium Education – A new education credentialing program will launch this year with special discounts and access for Bourbon Women members. The program aims to provide further education among Bourbon Women, recognizing participants as the authority on American Whiskey knowledge.
  • SIPosium – From August 13-16, 2026, Bourbon Women will culminate the year at the SIPosium annual conference in Louisville, KY. Members gather for education, connection, and celebration with exclusive tastings, VIP distillery tours, curated pairings, dynamic workshops led by industry leaders, and epic surprises. Ticket sales launch in the Spring.
  • Trippettes – Like sleepover camp for adults, Bourbon Women will invite members to attend luxury weekend getaways that inspire, restore, and deepen the strong spirit of sisterhood that is the hallmark of Bourbon Women membership.
  • Global Expansion – Bourbon Women plans to announce their first global expansion in 2026! More news surrounding this landmark expansion will be announced at a later date.
  • Virtual Events – Throughout the year, Bourbon Women will host virtual programs accessible to spirited members across the globe. Sessions will look back at the last 15 years, celebrate the unmatched Bourbon Women community of the present, and look forward to the global expansion of this spirited community.
