Copperworks Releases Single Malt for Craft Malt Month
In celebration of Craft Malt Month (September), an annual celebration bringing the community together to honor the artistry and impact of craft malt, Copperworks Distilling Co. has released Copperworks Craft Malt Month 2026 American Single Malt Whiskey (Single Cask No. 488).
Distilled from Baronesse barley grown at Joseph’s Grainery in Colfax, WA, and malted by LINC Malt in Spokane, the same barley varietal featured in Copperworks’ gold-medal-winning first Farmsmith release, this release marks a first for the distillery. Matured for 5 years and 9 months in a previously used rye whiskey cask, it is the first time Copperworks has released a whiskey matured in a rye cask, bottled at its natural cask strength of 63.2% ABV.
Copperworks is donating $10 for every bottle sold directly to the Craft Maltsters Guild to support their mission of promoting and sustaining craft malting traditions across North America.
