Copper & Cask announced the launch of Copper & Cask X. This 10-year age-stated Bourbon is the brand’s first permanent release, aiming to be available year-round in ongoing small batch drops. 

The inaugural batch of X is crafted from hand-selected barrels of 10 to 12-year Bourbon, distilled at MGP Indiana and aged in various locations, including: Kentucky, Indiana and Copper & Cask’s HQ in Rhode Island. The blend is composed of 45 barrels of low-rye (21%) and high-rye (36%) Bourbon, showcasing the complexity of extended aging while allowing each individual barrel to contribute to the layered expression. 

X is made under the direction of Barrel Master Stephen Corrigan. With nearly two decades of experience across whiskey distillation, aging and blending, Corrigan has led Copper & Cask’s barrel program since 2022.

“Launching X is an exciting new chapter for Copper & Cask,” Corrigan said. “We wanted our first ongoing release to make a statement. We did this by going deep into our inventory to find mature, distinctive barrels that together create a Bourbon with real depth, complexity and character that truly shines at barrel proof.” 

At an SRP of $69.99, Copper & Cask X offers consumers a premium 10-year, barrel-proof Bourbon at an accessible price point. X will be available this month at select retailers nationwide and online at copperandcaskspirits.com.
