Coppersea Distilling, the Heritage-Methods farm distillery in New Paltz, New York, announced a sales and marketing partnership with Craft & Art Wine & Spirits.

Craft & Art, led by spirits industry veteran Kevin Fennessey, provides sales, marketing, and back-office logistical support to a select number of leading craft  spirits brands. They will represent Coppersea products nationally, distributed through Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, Allied Beverage Group, and Horizon Beverage.

“We are thrilled to be launching Craft & Art Wine & Spirits with Coppersea,” Fennesse said in a news release. “Their focus on making great whisky has made them a beacon for  the American craft spirits movement, and we’re confident we can grow their market footprint, distribution points and brand significantly.”

Coppersea Founder and CEO Michael Kinstlick added, “We are incredibly excited to begin working with Kevin and the Craft & Art team. We always knew we’d need experienced leadership to reach broader distribution, and this partnership will enable us to access new markets timely and effectively.”

Founded in 2011, Coppersea Distilling produces ultra-premium whiskies from Hudson Valley grains using Heritage-Methods distilling traditions ― on-site organic farming, open wooden fermenters, direct-fired copper-pot stills, floor-malting, and low barrel proof aging.
