Lofted Spirits announced the elevation of Dan Callaway to the role of Master Blender, recognizing his long-standing influence on the company’s whiskey program. 

Formerly Vice President of Product Development at Bardstown Bourbon Company, Callaway has stepped into an overarching position that reflects his leadership in blending, creative exploration and category-shaping collaborations.

Callaway will continue to oversee blending for Bardstown Bourbon’s acclaimed line of Kentucky Straight Whiskies while also expanding his influence across the broader Lofted Spirits portfolio, including the Green River Whiskey brand and emerging Lofted Custom Spirits clients.

Tapping into his background as a seasoned musician turned certified sommelier, Callaway brings a distinctive, almost “mad scientist” approach to blending, which has helped Bardstown Bourbon redefine its whiskey. Under his leadership, the brand’s collaborative finishes and experimental blends have received acclaim and top industry awards.

This elevation is part of a broader strategic evolution for Lofted Spirits and its house of brands, highlighting its leadership in transforming the category while building a scalable platform for future growth and industry disruption.
