Chattanooga Whiskey Experimental Distillery celebrated World UFO Day by releasing what it has dubbed “Intergalactic Comet Crusher.”

June 24, often considered to be the date on which the first widely reported UFO was sighted in the U.S. many decades ago, saw the release of what the distillery reports is the result of a craft of unknown origin crash-landing on its roof in 2015.

From a news release: “Among the wreckage: a malfunctioning android, blueprints for an intergalactic highway (straight through Earth-don’t panic!), and a glowing green bottle labeled: ‘Intergalactic Comet Crusher’. Unable to resist, their distillers took one sip and unanimously agreed it was the best drink in existence.”

Interesting.

Now, Chattanooga Whiskey says, after 10 years of “top-secret reverse engineering (and some light time travel),” it will officially “declassify and disclose this extraordinary spirit to the universe.” 

Bottled at 84 proof, the spirit’s lone tasting note is described as being “reminiscent of having your brains smashed out by a bag of lemons dipped in 42 karat gold.”

Batch “Alpha”: Intergalactic Comet Crusher is only available at the Chattanooga Whiskey Experimental Distillery for $49.99 for a 750ml bottle, and available online for shipping to select states on Seelbachs.com. (No word on the availability of intergalactic shipping.)
