Buzzard’s Roost Sipping Whiskey announced the limited release of Founders’ Select Single Barrel Bourbon, available only online and in the brand’s Whiskey Row distillery and tasting room.

It is the first release in a forthcoming monthly series of single barrel  whiskey releases.

In the Buzzards Roost newsletter, the brand said, “Just the other day, we were thinking, ‘Wouldn’t it be amazing if we dug deep into our whiskey stocks and found an awesome new single barrel that we could release every single month?’ And now it’s happening!”

The first release is a 6-year-old bourbon that is bottled at 114.2 proof, aged six years, with a mashbill of 60% corn, 36% rye and 4% malted barley. The price is $95 for a 750ml bottle.

Buzzard’s Roost also noted it will have a presence at the forthcoming Kentucky Bourbon Festival, with single barrel samples available.
