Wheel Horse Whiskey announced the release of Barrel Master Select Rye, the brand’s first barrel proof rye expression. It is the second release in the Barrel Master Select series.

Distilled in Owensboro, Kentucky, the inaugural release is a blend of nine rye (95%) barrels aged between five and six years, primarily matured in Kentucky and secondarily at Wheel Horse in Rhode Island. Barrels were hand selected by Barrel Master Stephen Corrigan. 

Batch 1 is bottled at 120.4 proof, non-chill filtered, and is limited to 1,800 bottles. Barrel Master Select Rye has an SRP of $39.99 and is available now at retailers in about 15 states, and in over 30 states online.
