Copperworks Distilling Co. announced the release of Copperworks Pondera Cabernet Cask American Single Malt Whiskey, a limited-edition release celebrating the distillery’s partnership with boutique winery Pondera Winery.

Copperworks Pondera Cabernet Cask American Single Malt Whiskey was crafted using pale malt and matured for over seven years in a refill Copperworks cask before finishing for six months in a Cabernet Sauvignon cask from Pondera. The cabernet cask previously held a gold award-winning wine that scored 92 points from the Seattle Wine Awards in 2019.

“This collaboration with Pondera represents exactly what we love about this area,” Copperworks President and Co-Founder Jason Parker said in a news release. “Two craft producers from neighboring cities, Kenmore and Woodinville, coming together to create a must-taste whiskey that celebrates our region’s exceptional quality.”

The whiskey is bottled at 100 proof and has an SRP of $89.99. Only 190 bottles will be released.
