Big Easy Whiskey Now Available in 46 States
Big Easy Spirits Company (BESCO), introduced earlier this year at select retail stores in Louisiana, is now available for home shipping to 46 U.S. states via www.bigeasywhiskey.com.
Big Easy Whiskey starts with 100 percent American whiskey distilled in Kentucky and Indiana. Its traditional bourbon mash bill is 81 percent corn, 15 percent rye, and 4 percent barley. Big Easy Whiskey ages the whiskey for five years in used bourbon barrels for a softer taste, less influenced by the fresh wood of newer barrels.
The whiskey is then infused with its unique blend of herbs, spices, and fruit that enhance the whiskey’s flavor.
Honoring New Orleans’ rich cocktail history, Big Easy Whiskey brings depth and complexity to cocktail recipes and works on its own in Easy Over Ice.
The Easy Over Ice campaign showcases the flavor, versatility and value of drinking Big Easy Whiskey with consumer-focused executions aimed at bars, restaurants and retailers with “easy” to communicate programs such as tailgates, karaoke nights and any cocktail programs.
“Big Easy Whiskey is the best of New Orleans in a bottle,” COO and Master Blender Kieran Walsh said in a news release. “We’ve crafted a whiskey that’s delicious on its own, or over ice. The ‘Easy Over Ice’ campaign highlights the brand’s spirit of no complications, no fuss, just good drinks from the first sip to the last.”
The whiskey’s natural infusions — over two dozen, including vanilla, clove spice, and citrus, create layers of flavor that open up beautifully when served over ice. As the ice melts, the whiskey’s character evolves, making each sip a new experience.
Big Easy Whiskey is available for purchase online at www.bigeasywhiskey.com with shipping to 46 U.S. states. It can also be found in select retail locations in Louisiana. Suggested retail price is $34.99 for a 750 mL. ABV is 43% (86 proof).
