Chattanooga Whiskey Releases Signature Whiskey in 1.5 Liter Size
Chattanooga Whiskey announced that its signature recipe, Chattanooga Whiskey 91, will now be offered in a new 1.5 liter bottle size.
Previously limited to 750ml and 375ml bottles, this new larger size “lets Chattanooga Whiskey 91 shine in the way people actually drink it: together,” Founding Distiller Grant McCracken said in a news release.
McCracken added, “It’s been nearly 10 years since the Chattanooga Whiskey 91 recipe was developed. Since then, it’s not only grown into our signature recipe, but has also become a craft whiskey staple, valued for its depth of flavor and the story behind it. By putting 91 into a 1.5 liter bottle, we get to share that unmatched character and timeless story with even more people, in even more moments.”
Chattanooga Whiskey 91 traces its origins to Barrel 91 at the Experimental Distillery. Selected from their first 100 experimental barrels, that single barrel was chosen by the entire team as both their signature recipe and the blueprint for the whiskey that now bears its name.
True to the distillery’s transparent, open-book style, the new 1.5 liter label still walks drinkers through every ingredient and step of their trademarked Tennessee High Malt style, continuing Chattanooga Whiskey 91’s role as a living introduction to their one-of-a-kind story.
“We’ve always been proud to show off every detail behind our whiskey,” McCracken said. “Roasted and toasted caramel and honey malts, extended fermentations, custom toasted barrels, solera finishing – we want everyone to see the intention behind every step. You don’t usually see a craft whiskey like this in a 1.5 liter bottle – and this bigger stage lets all those details speak louder.”
Chattanooga Whiskey 91 (1.5 liter) will be available at the Chattanooga Whiskey Experimental Distillery for $59.99 and in retail stores across Tennessee and Georgia.
