Frey Ranch Distillery announced that it has released a limited amount of 100% Barley Whiskey from its Single Grain Series.

The Barley Whiskey is made from two-row unmalted barley, aged for 4 years and 8 months, and bottled at 110-proof. 

The editorial team at Esquire gave high praise to our 100% Barley Whiskey stating: “There’s a rich sweetness on the palate, with strong notes of butterscotch, caramel, and honey, but it’s not cloying or saccharine. The whiskey will definitely appeal to bourbon lovers, but anyone interested in trying something new in the world of American whiskey should give this a try as well.”

The whiskey recently received a Best of Class designation at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, being awarded 97 points and a double gold medal.
