Bourbon distillers continue getting more involved in the concert business.

The latest to offer a concert series is Wilderness Trail Distillery in Danville, Ky., which announced its “Summer Jams” last week.

The first is this week with Jason Sinkhorn 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 14. His debut album hits stores this fall. Others include:
Aug. 4: Michael Evces. Harmonica and guitar loving Evces lives in Danville.

Sept. 1: Jonathan New, guitarist with the West Coast Turnarounds, performs.

At all events, there will be bourbon, cocktails and food. Chairs are recommended.

Other distillery concert series include 1792 Barton’s and MB Roland Pickin’ on the Porch.

Larger shows with bourbon involvement include Forecastle this week and Bourbon & Beyond Sept. 23-24. (I am working with both festivals, curating bars and leading education.)

So, grab your bourbon, it’s concert time.
