Bottled in Bond 1792 in Time for Holidays

Barton 1792 Distillery announced its 1792 Bottled-in-Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey.

The whiskey follows the BIB rules in that it was distilled in one distilling season, is at least four years old and is bottled at 100 proof. The company did not give a specific age. (To learn more about Bottled in Bond, read my Whisky Advocate story.)

However, it’s the seventh limited edition release of 1792 Bourbon expressions, joining High Rye, Sweet Wheat, Single Barrel and Full Proof Bourbons.

It hits stores nationally in December for an SRP of $35.99 for a 750ml bottle.
