Scotland’s Benriach Distillery announced the release of four new single malt whiskys to the U.S. market.

The whiskys, two peated and two unpeated, are: The Original Ten, The Original Twelve, The Smoky Ten and The Smoky Twelve.

The Original Ten (43% ABV) is a blend of whiskeys aged for at least 10 years in bourbon barrels, sherry casks and virgin oak; the Original Twelve (46% ABV) is a blend aged for at least 12 years in sherry casks, bourbon barrels and port casks.

The Smoky Ten (46% ABV) is distilled using malted barley smoked with Highland peat and is a blend of peated and unpeated whiskey aged for at least 10 years in a combination of bourbon barrels, Jamaican rum casks and toasted virgin oak; the Smokey Twelve (46% ABV) is blended with a combination of unpeated and peated whisky and aged at least 12 years in bourbon barrels, sherry casks, and Marsala wine casks.

In addition, packaging for the Benriach products has been redesigned to reflect the first Benriach release more than two decades ago.

Benriach also announced that a selection of 21, 25 and 30 Year Old Single Malts will be released in the U.S. in 2021.
