Distillery 291 Releases Maple-Finished Rye Whiskey
Happy National Maple Syrup Day. And if you’re feeling inspired, Distillery 291 announced the release of a new whiskey that might just make your day.
The first new expression for the Colorado Distillery in five years, “M” Colorado Whiskey is 291’s flagship Colorado Rye whiskey that is finished in maple syrup barrels.
After the base rye whiskey is aged in new American White Oak with Aspen staves, it is then moved to Wisconsin maple syrup barrels from Lincoln County Reserve Maple Syrup for four months. It is bottled at 123.4 proof. M has an MSRP of $104.99, with 866 bottles available.
The whiskey will be sold in Distillery 291’s tasting room and at select Colorado retailers.
