New Riff Distillery to Release 6-Year Malted Rye
New Riff Distillery announced the release of its 6-year Malted Rye Whiskey, made with 100% malted rye grain.
The bottled-in-bond whiskey was something of an experiment when the first batch was made, according to a news release. But New Riff co-founder Jay Erisman called the results “polished, refined and subtle,” when compared to a typical spicier flavor profile of a rye whiskey.
New Riff Malted Rye Whiskey will initially be released in Kentucky, followed by wider distribution by the end of 2021. Suggested retail price is $59.99.
