Basil Hayden announced the release of a new, limited-time bourbon, Subtle Smoke.

Basil Hayden Subtle Smoke is being marketed as a new take on smoky spirits that begins with toasting and lightly charring a secondary barrel. Afterwards, hickory-smoked chips are ignited at a constant feed to produce smoke, which is then pumped into the barrel, resulting in soft, charred notes. This six-month secondary aging process provides a more subtle take on smoky spirits, per a news release.

Basil Hayden Subtle Smoke is available now, for a limited time, at spirits retailers across the United States with a suggested retail price of $49.99/750mL.
