Kentucky Bourbon Benefit Auction

The Kentucky Bourbon Benefit Auction to benefit for Eastern Kentucky flood relief is now live, and items are being added in real time.

Fred Minnick, the Bourbon Crusaders and Westport Whiskey & Wine teamed up with the Kentucky Distillers’ Association to collect items to be auctioned. Visit the auction website to bid and to get further details.

In Eastern Kentucky, the death toll continues to rise, hundreds are missing and rescue and recovery efforts are tedious. This auction is a fundraising event to support recovery and rebuilding efforts from the devastating floods in Eastern Kentucky in July 2022. All proceeds will go directly to the State’s Official Team Eastern Kentucky Flood Relief Fund.

Auction items include numerous bottles and bottle sets; for example, a set of two 18-year-old Four Roses private barrel picks are up for a bid, as is a Blanton’s Worldwide Trilogy set and a bottle of 2021 Old Forester Birthday Bourbon.

Bourbon experiences also are up for auction, such as a custom distillery tour from Mint Julep Experiences and a Rare Michter’s Distillery and Tasting Experience. In addition, there are several private barrel selection experiences, from distilleries such as Willett, Bulleit, Wilderness Trail, Four Roses and more.

The auction will close on 11 p.m. EST on Sunday, August 21, 2022. Bidders must be at least 21 years old.
