Kentucky to the World (KTW) announced its selection by Sazerac to receive a set of Buffalo Trace’s finest whiskeys as part of the 100 Bourbon Sets for 100 Charities initiative. This program, which celebrates Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr.’s legacy of improving the bourbon industry, recognizes KTW for its significant contributions to making our community a better place to live and thrive.

The bourbon set, valued at $2,100, features six unique W.L. Weller bourbon expressions from the renowned Kentucky bourbon brand. This exclusive collection offers bourbon enthusiasts a chance to own a piece of bourbon history while supporting KTW’s mission.

KTW will raffle off this bourbon set, with raffle tickets priced at $50 each. A maximum of 300 tickets will be sold, providing participants with favorable odds to win this prize. Tickets can be purchased online at kentuckytotheworld.org until 7:00 PM EDT on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. Additionally, tickets will be available for purchase in person at Hotel Genevieve on July 24, 2024, from 6:00 to 7:15 PM, with the drawing set to take place at 7:30 PM.

By participating in this raffle, supporters are directly contributing to KTW’s mission of elevating Kentucky’s cultural and intellectual reputation on a global scale. KTW achieves this by sharing compelling stories of extraordinary individuals with Kentucky roots who are making a significant impact through their creativity, intellect, and passion.

The 100 Bourbon Sets for 100 Charities initiative is a testament to Buffalo Trace Distillery’s commitment to honoring Colonel Taylor’s legacy. This initiative, first announced in September 2023, involved inviting nonprofit organizations nationwide to apply for a chance to receive a set of the Distillery’s finest whiskeys for charitable fundraising.

Selected organizations, like KTW, demonstrate a steadfast commitment to community improvement, reflecting the principles that guided Colonel Taylor’s advocacy for the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897.

Buffalo Trace Distillery’s program underscores the special significance of “100,” paying homage to the 100 proof requirement for Bottled-in-Bond whiskeys, symbolizing the dedication to quality and community welfare.
