Filmland Spirits announced it has added New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Michigan to its distribution network, bringing the total number of states where its small batch whiskeys are available at retail and select on-premise accounts to 15.

“In 2022, we saw the opportunity to combine Hollywood’s story-telling talent with Kentucky’s whiskey wisdom,” founder and CEO Troy Bolotnick said in a news release. 

The Filmland team believes that every whiskey has a story, and every story deserves a whiskey. The result is a pairing of an original retro B-Movie concept – complete with monsters, robots and over-the-top plots – with whiskey. Even the custom bottles which are inspired by the world of moviemaking tell part of the story and feature immersive story-driven movie poster as labels. 

In the two and a half years since launch, Filmland has experienced significant growth, including nearly doubling sales during the last 12 months. As a result, today Filmland Spirits has kicked off a crowd-funding campaign on Start Engine and is inviting their fans and the general public to invest in the next chapter of growth as Filmland Spirits continues to bring its delicious bourbons and ryes to awaiting fans across the country.

The Filmland Spirits portfolio includes four core products, and several limited releases, available while supplies last at retail in 15 states and via e-commerce to 46 states.
