Nearest Green Releases Single Barrel for Honor Day
Nearest Green Distillery announced that it will offer a highly limited commemorative Single Barrel bottle in celebration of the distillery’s 3rd annual Honor Day, taking place at the Distillery on May 24 to honor the U.S. Armed Forces.
The bottles will only be available for purchase at Nearest Green Distillery, located in Shelbyville, TN. Bottles are priced at $79, and the expressions will range in proof from 120.9 to 122.1.
The label is a tribute to American heroes serving in the Armed Forces. It’s underscored by the American flag’s iconic stars and stripes — a visual salute to military service members.
With the words “THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE & SACRIFICE” emblazoned on the front, the special edition bottle is more than just whiskey; it’s a gesture of gratitude, patriotism, and purpose, as well as the brand’s commitment to legacy and excellence.
After picking up the Limited Edition bottle, visitors can join in on the Honor Day festivities, including color guards, fireworks, food trucks, live performances, a salute to service and more.
The event opens at 3:15 p.m. with a military tribute and color guard presentation. Attendees are invited to bring chairs and blankets to enjoy the festivities.
