Brazil-Based Giulia Tequila Launches in California
After building a following in Brazil, Giulia Tequila has officially launched in the United States, coming to the California market through a strategic partnership 88 Spirits and Total Wine & More.
Distilled in the Highlands of Jalisco using 100% Blue Weber agave, traditionally made with only three ingredients: agave, deep well water, and yeast. Giulia first launched in Brazil, where its modern profile won over a wide audience. Now, Giulia is making its U.S. debut with the same uncompromising quality and character that earned its reputation abroad.
“Giulia began as a mission — to show Brazilians what tequila can be and how great it is, so our profile was tailored to the Brazilian palate,” Connor Minnix, co-founder of Giulia Tequila, said on a news release. “After seeing the incredible reception down there, we realized we had a product that we should share with the world. We created a brand hyper-focused on quality, reflecting modernity without sacrificing authenticity. Seeing it land on U.S. shelves is surreal, and I’m beyond proud of what we’ve built.”
The U.S. rollout will continue throughout 2025, with plans to expand to additional markets.
