Comedian Jim Gaffigan announced he will perform and film a whiskey-focused standup set in Louisville in October. Presale begins today at 10 a.m.

The shows are 21-plus, and three sets are scheduled over three days, Oct. 7-9. The events will be held at The Kentucky Center’s Bomhard Theater, just steps from Louisville’s historic Whiskey Row. All three shows, titled “Jim Gaffigan: A Bourbon Set,” comprise new material for the comedian.

“It’s a bourbon set,” Gaffigan wrote on social media. “If you are a whiskey fan, you’ll definitely want to check this out. 

Gaffigan has filmed and released a number of comedy specials, including Mr. Universe, Obsessed, Quality Time and others and Cinco. All four of those named received Grammy nominations. 

In addition, he has made dozens of film and television appearances and released more than a dozen comedy albums, 8 of which have won Grammy Awards for Best Comedy Album. He also appeared in more than 200 television commercials prior to his breakout as a comedian.
