Garrison Brothers Hye Old Fashioned bottle and cocktail SQUARE

Garrison Brothers Distillery announced the return of Hye Fashioned Takeover. The month-long celebration of America’s favorite classic cocktail, the Old Fashioned, takes place during September, fondly known as Bourbon Heritage Month.

The event, which debuted in 2023, is a nationwide program featuring hundreds of participating restaurants and bars along with at-home options throughout September. Garrison Brothers Hye Fashioned Takeover 2025 showcases the distillery’s bourbon and helps raises funds for Boot Campaign, a non-profit that supports U.S. veterans and military families.

During the month of September, bartenders across the United States will craft their favorite Old Fashioned made with Garrison Brothers’ bourbon. Several bars and restaurants have fun activations planned and one-of-a-kind Old Fashioneds on menus to celebrate.

To date, over 100 accounts have signed on to participate including Jackson’s Bistro in Tampa, Alexander’s Steakhouse in Pasadena, CA, Books, A Whiskey Society in San Antonio, as well as national chains like Del Frisco’s Grille, III Forks, and Remington Hotels. Hye Fashioned Takeover is happening across the nation including in Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, New York, North Carolina, and Texas.

The full list of participating restaurants and bars, which is updated weekly, can be found online at hyefashioned.com.

“Hye Fashioned Takeover gets bigger and better every year, and we’re thrilled to see more bartenders, restaurants, and bourbon fans join the fun,” Ciara Knee-Chavez, Director of Trade Marketing, Garrison Brothers Distillery, said in a news release. “It’s incredible to watch a classic cocktail become a canvas for creativity—all while raising awareness and support for our friends at Boot Campaign. At Garrison Brothers we love nothing more than bringing people together over great bourbon and giving back to those who’ve served our country.”

Starting September 1, Garrison Brothers will also offer a Hye Fashioned Takeover Cocktail Kit for purchase that ships directly to homes across the country. The kit, which makes up to twelve Old Fashioned cocktails includes a full bottle of 750ML Garrison Brothers Red, White & Bourbon Limited Edition Small Batch, other cocktail ingredients needed, a recipe card, two rocks glasses, and swag. For every kit sold, $25 will be donated to Boot Campaign.

Hye Fashioned Takeover helps to raise funds for Boot Campaign, a non-profit organization that honors and restores the lives of veterans and military families through individualized, life-improving care. Imbibers can help raise funds during Hye Fashioned Takeover for Boot Campaign by first following both Garrison Brothers Distillery and Boot Campaign on Instagram and then posting their Garrison Brothers Old Fashioned to their Instagram story.

For each story shared, Garrison Brothers will donate $5 to Boot Campaign. To date, Hye Fashioned Takeover has raised over $35,000 for Boot Campaign. In addition to the donations, each Instagram story will be entered to win a Garrison Brothers Distillery prize package which includes a trip to Austin with roundtrip airfare for four, a Garrison Brothers Distillery tour, a two-night hotel stay and tickets to a Moody Center concert of the winner’s choosing. The official giveaway rules and how to enter can be found at hyefashioned.com.

Lindsey Lott, Vice President at Boot Campaign said, “The best way to make a splash is to work together. We’re grateful to our friends at Garrison Brothers for their support and the way that they naturally build community. Their generosity reminds us of the power of coming together and we hope that Hye Fashioned Takeover fosters a sense of connection, camaraderie, and showing support for Veterans who have given so much.”
