Log Still Distillery Launches Remington Reserve
Log Still Distillery, in partnership with Remington, announced the Kentucky-first release of Remington Reserve Bourbon – “Open Season”, aproprietary blend of Kentucky and Tennessee bourbons.
Bottled at 86 proof in Gethsemane, Kentucky, Remington Reserve honors the spirit of the hunt and the bonds it creates across generations. From the campfire to the back of a tailgate to the hunting lodge, this bourbon was built for sharing stories and toasting traditions.
“Remington has always been about traditions and legacy, and that’s exactly what we wanted to capture in this bottle,” Denise Ingle, Chief Brand and Strategy Officer at Log Still Distillery, said in a news release. “The back label is more than a design element — it’s a place to record the hunts, the companions, and the stories that matter most. It’s about preserving the moments we share with our cherished ones and keeping those memories alive in a bottle.”
“From the very first sip in our tasting panels, we knew this collaboration had to honor Remington’s legacy,” Wally Dant, Founder of Log Still Distillery, said. “Together, we shaped a bourbon that balances strength and smoothness — just like the moments it’s meant to celebrate.”
Remington Reserve – “Open Season” carries a suggested MSRP of $39.99–$44.99 per 750ml bottle. Consumers who purchase a six-bottle case will receive the exclusive “Target Practice” case — designed both as packaging and as a keepsake for enthusiasts.
The ‘Open Season’ launch will kick off September 4th in conjunction with the Kentucky Bourbon Festival. Bottles will be available for purchase at the Log Still Distillery campus, with the first 100 purchases receiving a limited-edition poster.
Special launch events will be hosted at Log Still Distillery and Monks Road Boiler House in Louisville, featuring bottle signings, specialty cocktails, and tasting experiences as we lead up to Kentucky’s hunting season. The celebration continues October 10–12 with the inaugural annual Remington event at the Log Still Distillery campus—timed to toast Kentucky’s upcoming deer season the following weekend.
