Two Stacks Double Irish Cream Liqueur starts with Two Stacks The First Cut Signature Blend Irish Whiskey, which is blended and bonded by founders Shane McCarthy & Liam Brogan. This 4-plus-year-old whiskey from Great Northern Distillery features a unique blend of 40% grain (Bourbon Cask), 40% grain (American Oak), 8% pot still, 10% double malt and 2% peated malt. The peated malt – a unique addition to an Irish Cream – adds a wisp of smoke that lifts the cream to new heights.

“We are unapologetically focused on the whiskey taking the spotlight in our Irish Cream Liqueur,” Two Stacks co-founder Shane McCarthy said in a news release. “Innovative, unique Irish whiskeys are our calling card, so that hasn’t changed with our first liqueur. Even the double cream was intentionally selected to enhance the bold whiskey flavor.”

Tipperary, based in the heart of the Golden Vale, Ireland’s finest dairying region. Together with Master Blender Don Crowley, McCarthy and Brogan crafted a recipe where rich Tipperary cream and Two Stacks bonded whiskey are designed to shine in both timeless Irish Cream holiday serves and elevated contemporary cocktails.

A key component of this 17.5% Alc/Vol; 35-proof innovation is Irish double cream – naturally decadent, with a butterfat content of 48%. Its richness creates a silky, indulgent texture that enhances, rather than overwhelms, the character of the whiskey. 

Ultimate Irish Coffee

• 1 oz Two Stacks Double Irish Cream Liqueur
• 3.5 oz Freshly Brewed Coffee
• Whipped Two Stacks Double Irish Cream Liqueur

In a Nick and Nora glass, add Two Stacks Double Irish Cream Liqueur and then coffee. Top with whipped Two Stacks Double Irish Cream and freshly ground nutmeg. To create the whip, combine Two Stacks Double Irish Cream Liqueur and heavy whipping cream in a 3:1 ratio.
