Pursuit Spirits Founder Hour bottles Nov 2025

Pursuit Spirits, the whiskey brand created by the founders of the world’s #1 whiskey podcast, Bourbon Pursuit, announced the launch of its new exclusive event series, Founder Hour, debuting on Thursday, November 7th.

The inaugural session will feature a release of five of the company’s most rare and aged single-barrel whiskeys in their Pursuit Series line.

Founder Hour is an intimate, exclusive tasting experience limited to only six guests, offering a laid-back time with Pursuit Spirits owners and creators, Kenny Coleman and/or Ryan Cecil. The highlight of this first event is the opportunity to learn about the origins, taste, and purchase a bottle from each of the five newly released, highly limited single-barrels. This experience is reserved by selecting “Founder Hour” on the company’s booking site for November 7th 2025.

The next episodes in the Pursuit Series lineup feature the oldest whiskey ever released by the brand. Each barrel has been bottled at cask strength, without filtration, and will be individually numbered.

“To make this first Founder Hour legendary, we’re tasting through the rarest single barrels we’ve ever released,” Kenny Coleman, Co-Founder of Pursuit Spirits, said in a news release. “These five barrels tested our patience. We acquired some of these barrels prior to 2020 and decided to wait for this moment.”

The first is Pursuit Series Episode 077. A 12-year-old bourbon from a distillery in Bardstown, which is described as the brother to the legendary Episode 017 sharing a mashbill of 72% corn, 13% rye, 15% malted barley. Clocking in at 133 proof with only 73 bottles produced, it will be available for $374.99.

Pursuit Series Episode 078 is a staggering 20-year-old barrel that is the oldest whiskey Pursuit Spirits has ever released, yielding only 70 bottles. This Tennessee bourbon is bottled at 114 proof and will be available soon for $299.99.

The lineup continues with Pursuit Series Episode 079, a 10-year-old Woodinville bourbon that was only 53 days from its 11th birthday and is potentially one of the oldest single barrels of Woodinville bourbon in existence with a mashbill of 72% corn, 22% rye, and 6% malted barley. Bottled at 120 proof and priced at $199.99.

Another Woodinville selection is Pursuit Series Episode 080, which is an 8-year-old rye bottled at 126 proof for $199.99. This 100% rye mashbill is a staple and the second Woodinville rye barrel released by the brand.

Finally, Pursuit Series Episode 081 is the last remaining barrel of the company’s beloved 78% corn, 10% rye, and 12% malted barley mashbill from the original stock purchased at Bardstown Bourbon Co. This barrel proof bourbon is 8 years old, 126 proof, and is a core component of the Pursuit United bourbon blend, available for $99.99.

For those unable to attend the exclusive tasting, Episodes 078 and 081 will be available for purchase starting Friday, November 7th, at the Pursuit Spirits location on Whiskey Row (722 W. Main St, Suite 100, Louisville KY 40202) and available by the pour at their cocktail lounge, Trial + Error. Episodes 078, 079, and 080 will be available after Episode 078 or 081 sell out.
