James Bay Distillers Announces New Club High-Proof Bourbon
James Bay Distillers announced the upcoming release of their its quarterly members-only Flightline Whiskey & Spirits Club cask-strength bourbon. The company, a craft distillery located just north of Seattle at Paine Field International Airport, stated that the release is a 125.2 proof cask-strength version of its award-winning Everett Liquor Co. bourbon.
“We love the color, the aroma, and the taste is amazing,” Ernest Troth, president of James Bay Distillers, said in a news release. “Our 80 proof expression, the Everett Liquor Co. with its 1902 pre-Prohibition label, has been named ‘a damn fine bourbon’ and has earned a 94-point gold medal and ‘Best in Class’ award at competitions in Texas and California. The heightened complexity of the cask-strength brings a true sipping whiskey to our offerings.
“And yes, we chose the name ‘Flightline’ for the club because we are just a few hundred feet from Paine Field’s 34R runway and a quarter mile from the main commercial runway serving Alaska and Frontier airlines.”
The company will notify members directly when bottles are labeled and ready for pick-up. Details of the club benefits are available through their official communication channels. The three club levels offer steep discounts on bottle purchases, branded members-only glassware, and three tastings per quarter for a member and a guest.
