Independent spirits producer Cooper Spirits Co. announced the debut of a new expression in its Lock Stock & Barrel portfolio: the ultra-rare 25-Year-Old Straight Rye Whiskey. 

This release completes the brand’s collection of high-aged rye whiskeys, which has earned acclaim from spirits competitions and whiskey enthusiasts alike. The new expression is available for pre-order now and will ship 250 bottles in 2025.

Per a news release, the Lock Stock & Barrel 25-Year-Old Straight Rye Whiskey is currently the oldest rye whiskey available on the market. Distilled in 1999 and drawn from Cooper Spirits’ prized inventory of “honey barrels,” they were personally selected by the late Rob Cooper from Alberta Distillers’ rickhouses.
