Brella Beverage Acquires Chicago Distilling Portfolio
Brella Beverage Inc., a beverage manufacturing and brand platform based in Chicago, announced the acquisition of the Chicago Distilling Company brand portfolio, including Finns, Ceres Vodka, Blind Tiger, and the flagship Chicago Distilling brand.
Founded by husband-and-wife team Jay and Noelle DiPrizio, Chicago Distilling Company began in Logan Square with a mission to showcase Chicago-made spirits crafted from locally sourced grains, with a longstanding commitment to quality and authenticity.
The portfolio’s brands — particularly Finns and Ceres Vodka — became staples of Chicago’s cocktail culture and are widely recognized across the region.
Under the transaction, Brella Beverage Inc. will assume ownership of the Chicago Distilling Company brand portfolio and scale the brands through its manufacturing, distribution, and operational platform. Production, brand development, and expansion efforts will be supported by Brella’s growing Illinois-based infrastructure.
Jay DiPrizio will continue to independently produce HiLo and an assortment of craft whiskeys, maintaining his ongoing role as a Chicago-based distiller and operator.
Brella Beverage Inc. continues to expand its operational capacity through significant investment in Illinois production facilities, supporting job creation across manufacturing, logistics, and brand operations. The acquisition further strengthens Brella’s position as a next-generation adult beverage company focused on combining manufacturing scale with established, authentic brands.
Brella remains committed to keeping production, innovation, and jobs rooted in Illinois while expanding the reach of iconic local brands to new markets.
