New Riff Distilling announced its acclaimed Single Barrel Experience will expand its offerings with a new addition: its first ever Malted Rye single barrel selection. Available this month, Single Barrel Malted Rye is the latest New Riff whiskey to join the Newport distillery’s distinguished bespoke barrel program.

“We’re excited to introduce Malted Rye as the fourth offering in our robust Single Barrel program,” Chief Sales Officer Rawnica Dillingham said in a news release. “It’s something we’ve heard strong demand for, and we’re thrilled it’s now available for selections, giving our trade partners and private Single Barrel customers a chance to enjoy a truly unique New Riff experience.”

Malted Rye, an award-winning product in New Riff’s core lineup, will make its Single Barrel debut aged 6 years and distilled with a mashbill of 100% malted rye — a unique and seldom seen recipe in today’s craft distilling scene.

New Riff takes pride in offering an educational and engaging barrel selection experience every bit as singular as the barrels themselves. Each Single Barrel Selection Experience includes full tours of the distillery and West Campus, where New Riff houses the rickhouses and bottling hall and hosts single barrel picks in a turn-of-the-century tasting room. After, guests are treated to a post-pick stop at The Aquifer Tasting Room.

The distillery also offers 6-year-old Single Barrel Bourbon, available by full barrel only, and 4-year-old Single Barrel Bourbon and 6-year-old Single Barrel Rye selections, both of which may be purchased in customizable quantities starting at just 90 bottles. New Riff is one of few distilleries offering fractional single barrels.

Additionally, New Riff offers several convenient pickup options, including next day pickup (for additional fees and subject to availability). New Riff can also ship single barrel selections to many states once bottled.

New Riff will continue to offer staff-picked single barrel selections at retail, aged 4 years for bourbon and 6 years for rye. Consumers may find retailer-picked selections for sale at their favorite shops across all the single barrel offerings.
