Woody Creek Releases Third Edition William H. Macy Rye
Woody Creek Distillers and the brand’s “Spokesdude,” William H. Macy, announced the release of Woody Creek William H. Macy Reserve Rye Third Edition.
Beginning May 15, the limited-release whiskey from the award-winning distillery at the base of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado’s Roaring Fork Valley will be available at select retail outlets and on back bars, as well as through Woody Creek’s direct-to-consumer channel.
Chosen in a blind tasting led by the Oscar-nominated and two-time Emmy Award-winning actor Macy and Head of Distillation Stephen Julander, along with Woody Creek co-founders Mary and Pat Scanlan and bar industry luminary Sean Kenyon, the five-barrel blend was selected for its balance, depth, and character.
About the whiskey:
“I’m a rye whiskey guy; always have been. For me, that’s America’s drink,” Macy said in a news release. “And in all sincerity, I think Woody Creek makes the best spirits around. We don’t do everything, but what we lean into, we do as well as anyone in the business. I hope everybody enjoys this liquid.”
