Cedar Ridge Distillery Releases The QuintEssential Number Five
The Cedar Ridge Distillery has released the fifth in a series of limited-edition expressions of its American Single Malt, The QuintEssential Number Five.
“For our distillery, the number five has always held historic significance,” Master Distiller Murphy Quint said in a news release. “We were first established in 2005 and our last name is Quint, which means five. It’s only fitting that our fifth release honors our story. I’m proud to introduce Number Five.”
This special release utilizes five finishing casks: imported Port casks, estate Port casks, imported Madeira wine casks, and Estate V casks – a Madeira inspired wine and Estate Marquette Red Wine Casks (an estate-grown grape).
This new release is available at the Cedar Ridge Distillery in Iowa, on-line and in select states. It is bottled at 117.8 proof and has an SRP of $99.99.
