Jefferson’s, Beckham Put a Little Heat into a Rye Cocktail
Jefferson’s Bourbon has partnered with entrepreneur Brooklyn Peltz Beckham and his hot sauce brand Cloud23 to reimagine what’s possible in a cocktail glass. Together, they’re out to prove that rye cocktails are ripe for reinvention.
The collaboration centers on Jefferson’s latest release: Jefferson’s Straight Rye Whiskey. With this new spirit as their base, Beckham and the Jefferson’s team have updated the classic Manhattan cocktail, infusing it with a spicy kick from Beckham’s signature hot sauce.
Dubbed the Brooklyn23, the cocktail combines the robust but smooth whiskey with a kick of fiery undertones from the hot sauce.
“I’ve always been passionate about experimenting in the kitchen, and my brand Cloud23 is all about the joy of culinary discovery,” Beckham (pictured) said in a news release. “That got me thinking, why not bring that same spirit to cocktails? Partnering with Jefferson’s, a brand that shares my love for innovation, has been an incredible experience. We’re creating something fresh and exciting that breaks the mold – that’s what both of our brands are about.”
This pairing blends tradition with experimentation, inviting cocktail lovers to explore a new edge in flavor: proof that even the most classic drinks can benefit from a touch of heat.
To bring the experience home, Jefferson’s is offering limited-edition “Manhattan to Brooklyn” cocktail kits through Cocktail Courier. Each kit includes everything needed to create the classic Manhattan and Brooklyn23 cocktail for a bold new twist on tradition. Full recipe below.
Rye is now available nationwide at retailers, bars, and restaurants (MSRP $34.99 / 750mL). For more information on Jefferson’s Rye and the cocktail kit, visit Jefferson’s Bourbon.

ABOUT JEFFERSON’S
Trey Zoeller and his father, Chet, a famed bourbon historian, established Jefferson’s in 1997. They were continuing a family tradition that goes back to 1799 when Trey’s eighth generation grandmother became the first woman on record in America to be arrested for the “production and sales of spirituous liquors.” Over the last 25 years, Trey has brought a unique perspective to Jefferson’s, seeing bourbon through the lens of nature, exploration, and experiences.
